Privacy Policy

1. Controller

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Serverprofis GmbH, Germany. The web server technically processes connection data on each page request (including IP address, date, time, page accessed, browser type). This data is stored in server logs and automatically deleted after 7 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure website operation).

3. Own Access Statistics

This website operates its own privacy-friendly access statistics without using external services such as Google Analytics. The following data is collected and stored on each page visit:

Page accessed, date and time of visit, device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), approximate country of origin (country code, e.g. "DE"), referring domain (referrer, e.g. "google.com"), anonymised visitor hash (one-way encrypted from IP address, browser identifier and date — not reversible).

The IP address itself is not stored permanently. To determine the country of origin, the IP address is transmitted once to the service ip-api.com (http://ip-api.com), which returns the country code. The IP address is not logged by ip-api.com. Only the country code is then stored. The statistical data collected is deleted after 12 months. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in anonymised website analysis).

4. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies by default. An optional opt-out cookie (bm_exclude) is only set on explicit request when a person visits the URL muellerben.de/?exclude_me=1 to exclude themselves from access statistics. This cookie contains no personal data and is not required for the functionality of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Contact Form

If you use the contact form, the data entered (email address, subject, message) is forwarded to me by email to process your enquiry and is not stored permanently on the server. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability.
